Mini-laptop input?

Has anyone tried this smaller laptop?
"Dell Mini": What do you think?

  1. Miss Bliss doesn't even like to carry a large purse and the idea of a laptop bag is well we aren't going there. At this size a med size purse would work. The keys are bigger then the Blackberry she uses to do a lot of blogging from and the screen would be easier on the eyes. I think the colors are what sells it. They even have that oceany blue color.

  2. Hi Miss Bliss - I bought an Acer Aspire 2 months ago and absolutely LOVE it. The Dell wasn't out at that time, but I am sure it's similar to mine. Right now I am sitting on my couch, legs up, and the computer right on my lap - sooooooooo cool. I can carry it around the house, it only weighs about 2.5 pounds. The carry case for it is like a clutch purse. The only drawback that I have with it is the screen is small and you have to do a lot of toggling up and down to get a full internet page.
Good Luck!! Check out Amazon if you're gonna buy one.

  4. It comes in pink? SOLD!! I would just worry that it's a bit too small, my eye sight is going quick! If you have great eye sight...I say go for it! Seems like it would be very handy and portable.

  6. Quoting from March 2009 Consumer Reports:

"The Dell Mini 9 ($425) and HP Mini 1000 ($400) are both very light, thanks to solid state drives. But those drives are very small at 8 to 16 gigabytes each and slowed the computer noticeably. You can choose an HP Mini with a traditional 60 GB hard drive. The Acer Aspire One A150X ($410) had a long battery life and includes Microsoft Works but has a quirky trackpad and shallow wrist rest."

    ...Consumer Reports rules.

  7. Cute laptops! Maybe I'm out of touch, but I didn't realize they made them so small. Let me know if you end up getting one - I'm curious how they are.

  9. This reminds me of that movie with Ben Stiller called "Zoolander" where he had that itty bitty teeny weeny phone. I'm from Texas (originally - Georgia girl now) so Bigger is usually Better. But they are very cute! But really....isn't this pretty much an iPhone in disguise?? :-)

  10. i am a mac user but these do look cute. if they have a small pricetag they might be worth it. I have to say the one thing i don;t like about PCs is how slow they are to get to where you wanna go. But maybe that's just with the ones I've used. Do tell if you get one :)

  12. I have!! I have!! In May my boyfriend surprised me with a brand new mini laptop (aka netbook). I.LOVE.IT. and prefer it to a regular laptop any day! Tell me what you decide on!

  13. I love the variety of colours! I believe if you're only using it for internet purposes it's good to invest in one! That will last you all day, if it's just taken out once in a while to check mail or facebook. Besides that it has no other purpose! It can not be use for programs, programs will slow it down. :)
