One more from Tyler Florence at Food Network... thanks M.J. for suggesting real chocolate!
mushy warning!!! ...and now, back to watching Bridget Jones's Diary with Mr. Wonderful. When Mark Darcy tells Bridget that he likes her,
just as she is, it makes us both smile.
in the ending film with the credits... he says the little girl at the birthday party is me... she is having a big piece of chocolate birthday cake, swigging something bubbly, and swimming in the pool... then she kisses him... and this makes us smile, too... ;)
maybe tomorrow he will make me some Mexican Hot Chocolate...
Oh, that must of been such an 'agonising' trip!!! Its beautiful :-)
ReplyDeleteOh that DOES look like it was a very tough trip!
ReplyDeleteYou know what makes GREAT mexican hot chocolate? Abuelita. You will find the bar in walmart either in the hispanic food section or where hot chocolate is. Delish, too!

ReplyDeleteI love Mexican hot chocolate! The drink is not traditionally made with syrup though... Try making it with melted bars of unsweetened cocoa (you'll need to add sugar)--you will not be disappointed!
ReplyDeleteUh, I guess all I would add is the Bailey's!!!!!

Ummm, are they hiring at that job? Oh, and Miss Bliss... if you were wondering what to get me for Christmas, a nice getaway like this would work. ;)
ReplyDeleteI just made a vat of hot choc (okay, a crock pot of it) for Big Sis's bday party. Afterwards, we added some coconut rum to the leftovers and yummy!! :)
That sounds DELICIOUS!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds gorgeous! Thanks for the recipe! Have a sweet day!
ReplyDeleteM.J. is right... we should use real chocolate instead of syrup... that is what I usually do when I have the choice of the two! ;)

ReplyDeleteChocolate, chocolate, oh my! I haven't even heard of several of your chocolate companies - guess I'm not the chocolate connoisseur I thought I was! LOL! I was just stopping by to say THANK YOU for entering the Great Cakes Soapworks giveaway at Muthering Heights. Best wishes to you! (And no, the Peanut Butter & Chocolate soap does NOT taste so good!) :)
ReplyDeleteThis place looks amazing! I would love a trip there! I'm going to try the hot chocolate recipe tonight. It sounds great and it so cold here in Connecticut, it'll be perfect. Have a great weekend!
