Last night was spent sleeping with awesome tropical rain pounding down on everything around us. Lighting and thunder to beat the band, and waking up to a bright sunny day. Green tea in goblets, fresh blueberries, peaches, and Cafe Bustelo with old fashioned brown sugar that comes in a disk of pressed sweet goodness. Life is good....

Sometimes this is the real reason I get up in the morning. Cafe Cubano y pastelitos are the best fix for a person suffering from the morning. When in Miami Beach you should eat like a local, when you live here you should eat like a Cuban, Dominican, Nica, or a Brazilian. Fresh produce from the delivery truck in the alley, Cafe from the local bodega or "cafeteria", and if you don't make it out of the house, and stay home with you love all day you must make gourmet coffee in a french press.
